"Miracle Baby" Ava Leaves with Parents After BSA NICU Transport
On August 7, Shandelle Hicks’ physician diagnosed her with Braxton Hicks contractions after coming in with pain in her back and abdomen. When the pain continued to worsen the next day, the first-time mom ignored it, contributing it to more Braxton Hicks contractions. After all, she wasn’t due to give birth for another two and a half months.
Following her physician’s suggestion, she took a warm bath to ease the pain. Doing so provided some relief and she went to bed.
